Quantuma includes an AI-powered Private Credit Analyst that can answer expressive natural language questions about the data.

Starting a chat

Click + New chat in the left sidebar under Chats. The chat opens with a greeting:

Hello! I’m Quantuma AI. I can help you analyze data and answer questions about private credit investments. What would you like to know?

Four suggested prompts are shown to get started:

“What companies has Apollo Global invested in?”
“What software companies are in the Golub portfolio?”
“Which lenders have the highest total assets?”
“Find private equity sponsors in healthcare”

Type any question in the input box at the bottom (“Ask about companies…”) and press Enter or click the send button.

Inline company chat

Each borrower’s Overview tab also includes an inline chat scoped to that specific company. It shows the company name and lets you ask questions in context (e.g., “Ask about 101 Inc…”).

What you can ask

The analyst has access to the entire public BDC market database and can handle four categories of questions:

Risk surveillance

Query the market to see how BDCs are marking a specific loan.

“What is the mark to market value for DriveCentric across holders?”
“Show me all Software companies with debt below 90 cents on the dollar”
“Which sectors have the most aggressive write-downs?”
“What are the top sectors for debt investments?”

Answers include a summary blurb and a table with the relevant data.

Deal origination

Scan competitor portfolios to find refinancing opportunities.

“List top-tier SaaS companies (Rev >$50M) with loans maturing in the next 12 months”
“Find me First Lien loans yielding >12% that are currently trading around par”

Competitive benchmarking

Compare BDCs against each other.

“How does the First Lien concentration differ between Ares, Midcap and Golub?”
“Which BDCs have the highest % of distressed loans?”

Identify active PE sponsors and their portfolio companies.

“Which PE Sponsors are most active in the Insurance industry?”
“Show me the companies owned by KKR”

Data exploration

Flexible analytical queries.

“Provide a breakdown of invested capital by loan price buckets: below 85, 85-90, 90-95, 95-99, over 99”
